ClearstreamXact: Standing Instruction for DVOP CHOS and DRIP CHOS Events
LuxCSD1 informs clients that effective
24 November 2025
it will enhance its service offering with the introduction of a standing instruction service for DVOP CHOS (Dividend Option with Choice) and DRIP CHOS (Dividend Reinvestment with Choice Events).
Benefits for clients
Clients will have a Standing Instruction in place for selected events limited to the CBL eligible settlement currencies, markets and instruments where such events are supported.
Description of the service
This service is available based on client subscription.
For events in scope, provided a Standing Instruction is in place at the LuxCSD deadline (at selected option level), a Swift MT567 Corporate Action Status and Processing Advice or MX seev.034 CorporateActionInstructionStatusAdvice will be sent to clients. If clients send an instruction for an option that differs from the Standing Instruction prior to the event deadline, such instruction will be considered and processed.
No cancellation instructions on Standing Instructions will be accepted after the LuxCSD deadline.
Reporting
When a Standing Instruction is in place:
- :17B::STIN/Y (MT564 CAN or IPAR) or StgInstrInd/Yes (seev.031/seev035) will be reported for the selected option (CASH or SECU);
- Any other option will be reported with :17B::STIN/N or StgInstrInd/No.
Service activation/subscription
The subscription to the service will be done via MT599 or Xact Web Portal Message Exchange with the following information:
- Request to set up a Standing Instruction for DVOP and/or DRIP Reinvestment Events for the attention of PVA;
- Account number;
- Event type(s);
- Instrument:
- “Excluding Investment Funds”; or
- “Investment Funds only”;
- Market(s);
- CASH or SECU option.
The Standing Instruction service will start on the business day after the instruction has been recorded in LuxCSD’s system, that is, if the service request is sent by the client on D, the Standing Instruction validity will start for events having a deadline on D+1 at the earliest.
Service deactivation
The “Standing Instruction service” will end on the day when the instruction to stop such service is recorded (end time stamp) in the system.
Additional information
Any tax event related to the DVOP and DRIP Reinvestment Events (for example, a disclosure of BO details), is excluded from the Standing Instruction.
The reference of the instruction generated based on the Standing Instruction will consist of a maximum of 16 characters starting with “STIN” followed by a numeric string which will be incremental if several instructions are considered.
