CBL Release: Postponement of the November 2026 implementation
Following announcements C26050 and D26025, Clearstream1 informs clients that its November Release will be postponed to
30 November 2026
with a post-release implementation date on 14 December 2026.
Background
Due to Swift’s Standards Release 2026 revised implementation timeline, and the notification published by the European Central Bank (ECB), and as agreed with the involved CSDs and central banks, Clearstream will postpone its own internal November Release (originally planned for 16 November 2026), to 30 November 2026.
Impact on clients
Bespoke individual announcements will be sent per product and topic as usual. A recap Operational News will also be sent two business days prior to the release date(s), as usual.
